Woodworking Raffle of a Picnic Table

Recently, three Advanced Woodworking students–Aaron Familio, Nick Ruiz, and AJ Black, made a picnic table. This table was 2” x 6”. This table was auctioned off during conferences. It was won by the parents of Ben Phillips, a 6th grader. They were sold at $10 for 1 ticket and $20 for 3 tickets. While making the table, Aaron said that, “The table was fairly easy to make. The hardest part about it was the legs.”

All in all, Woodworking gained a little over $1300 from the raffle. Great work to these three students! We can’t wait to see what the Woodworking students make next.
