Hello Fremont! Starting next week the Walk-A-Thon and Spirit week will begin. For Spirit Week, Monday will be Music artist day, Tuesday will be Tropical day, Wednesday will be Pink out, Thursday will be Adam Sandler, and Friday is Fremont Friday. If you are in leadership, you are required to dress up 4 out of 5 days.
Moving on to the Walk-A-Thon, it started on September 18th and it’s ending on October 6th. There was a collection day on Friday the 22nd. There will also be collection days on Wednesday 27th, Thursday 28th, Friday 29th, Tuesday 3rd, and Wednesday 4th. The actual Walk-A-Thon will be on the 6th during 6th period and goes halfway through 7th.
The prizes you earn will depend on the money you raised.. If you don’t raise any money for the Walk-A-Thon, you get no prize and have to walk the track. If you raise $1-$4 you get a yellow wristband, walk the track, and get 2 otter pops, meanwhile if you raise $5-$29 you get a blue wristband, walk, and you will receive a soda and 3 otter pops. If you raise $30-$99 you get a purple wristband, walk, a soda, unlimited otter pops, a limited amount of chocolate bars and sour candy, along with a $5 Dutch Bros card. If you raise $100-$149 you get a pink wristband along with everything the purple wristband gets along with a get into a Fremont dance free pass and $10 Dutch Bros card instead of $5. Lastly, if you raise $150 and/or above you get the VIP wristband with everything the pink wristband has along with a front of the lunch line for the second quarter and a $15 Dutch Bros card instead of $10.
There will also be prizes for the top 3 winners. If you end up getting 1st place you get to be Principal for the day and you will be able to choose a friend to be Vice Principal, while also receiving a $50 gift card. If you get 2nd place you will receive a $75 gift card, and if you get 3rd place you will receive a $50 gift card. Those who raised $100 or more earn a pass to a movie assembly at Fremont. This will be held the week of Halloween. The top 5 first periods that have raised the most money will be granted a Doughnut party the week before Halloween.
